Top of the Morning!

Normally, I would already be at work by this time but since it is Regents week across New York State public high schools today is different. I don't go in until 11 but I will be proctoring till 6 pm this evening. Till 6?! Yes, till 6. I'll be proctoring students who have to take more than one Regents exam at the same time. Because of the conflict they receive additional time.

I received my tentative schedule for the spring semester and it looks like I'll be teaching freshmen and a ELA Regents prep class on the late schedule...bleh. The early schedule is 8:05- 2:42 and the late schedule is 9:23-4:02. It's not terrible but I like to think of myself as a true morning person. Ah well.

I want to start writing creatively again. I have all these ideas simmering on the pot but I don't know how to get them to boil. Wow, how cliche is this image I just gave right now? Unbelievable!

"Highway Man" by Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and Willie Nelson is really an amazing song. There is just something about it that grabs me and makes me listen. The lyrics tell an intriguing story.
